Edgecam Lathe 101

This is a 3-day class designed for the new or novice EdgeCAM user. The course is designed to provide users with an understanding of how to use the software for programming 2-axis lathes. The course also includes an introduction to live tool (C-axis) drilling, which is covered in more detail in EdgeCAM Lathe 2. The user will learn how to machine both solid models and wire-frame geometry models. Please note that this is a solids-based training class, with most of the classroom training spent on creating toolpath, not model geometry. For users that frequently have to draw geometry in EdgeCAM, or rely on importing DXF, DWG or IGES models, the Design class is also recommended.
