As Senior Applications Engineer at M2 Technologies, Douglas provides comprehensive pre and post sales technical support for the CAD-related software products. His responsibilities include demonstrations, training, product positioning, and competitive overviews. He delivers product presentations to prospects both at end-user and senior management level. He serves as a primary technical liaison for M2’s customers. Douglas has also helped establish Tech Support and training guidelines for M2, including problem reporting and syllabus creation for training classes. He is Autodesk certified in Inventor, Manufacturing Implementation and Data Management.

Prior to joining M2, Doug spent over ten years, as a CAD Manager and Designer. He designed castings, forgings and machined parts, bringing engineers’ ideas from concept to final detail. He implemented and maintained a 15-station CAD Network, which included the establishment of CAD standards, workflow for new product development and ECO changes, as well as daily backups and system recoveries. Doug also has experience drafting mechanical structures, electrical ladder diagrams, and piping schematics for electro-plating machines. He holds an Electro-Mechanical Design Degree from New England Institute of Technologies. In 1999 Douglas was awarded a Second Inventor for US Patent #5,950,427 – Fail Safe Hydraulic Actuator.
